Vogue and Connie Ann go to Gold Butte National Monument

While human beings hold a great deal of power, we are also part of a much larger ecosystem, a larger planet, and a larger solar system. As we traveled to Gold Butte National Monument, we thought about connection and scale.

Grateful to stand at the bank of the Virgin River, right outside the Gold Butte National Monument. We shared driving duties, gas money, homemade snacks, hydration reminds, and life lessons along the way.  Adventuring is better with friends and a poppin’ playlist. We danced and waved at the river, neither of us apologizing for speaking to nature as if she were one of us. She is.
